OCA/IOCA Supervisor Training Workshop

The RANZCP is hosting ongoing workshops for supervisors to enhance consistency in marking for both the OCA and IOCA assessments while deepening the participants' understanding of the assessment process.

Participants must register for the event and will earn CPD hours for their attendance and the time spent on pre-workshop preparation.

Workshop Details
Duration: 2 hours
Platform: MS Teams (online)
Attendees: Open to all supervisors across all jurisdictions. Workshops will not be limited to a certain jurisdiction.
Accreditation: Upon completion, you will be an accredited IOCA assessor.

To attend a workshop, you must select one of the date and time options provided in the registration list below.

Pre-Workshop Preparation: 2 hours
A prerequisite to attending the workshop will involve watching a simulated OCA training video (approximately. 1.5 hours duration) and completing the marking of the candidate's performance based on the scoring guide. A pack that includes the video links, marking form, and other relevant documentation will be sent to you two/three weeks before the workshop date. The completed marksheets should be submitted to the College prior to the workshop. If not completed, registrants will be unable to participate in the workshop and will have to register for a future date.


Cancellation Policy:
There is no cancellation/ refund for this event, as this is a free event. If you cannot attend and have registered, please let us know by sending an email to assesshelp@ranzcp.org as there are limited numbers.

If we are required to make any changes or cancellations to our event due to unforeseen circumstances, attendees will be notified by email.

Please note that all confirmation emails for these workshops will display a date of 31 December 2026, as this is the last day that the registrations are open for the year.

The supervisor workshop will be held via MS Teams, and the link to the meeting will be sent to you via an email approximately 24 hours prior to the workshop.
