1st Year RANZCP Trainee Orientation

You are invited to join the 1st Year RANZCP Trainee Orientation on Tuesday 10 February 2026 from 9.00AM to 5.00PM (AEDT) in-person at NSW Health.

This Trainee Orientation is a mandatory event for all trainees commencing in February 2026 and those who have commenced since April 2025.

Event information

Please note that your attendance is recorded and passed to your Director of Training and formal Education Course Provider.

Attendance must be in person.

Video conferencing will be available only to trainees located at selective regional and rural sites. Please advise if you required access to video conferencing.
The training networks will notify Clinical Directors, Service Directors, and Site Coordinators of Training about the Orientation.
Given the current workforce situation, you will be notified of any changes if these become necessary.
It is essential that you register for the Orientation by Tuesday 3 February 2026.

Cancellation - change of mind
There is no cancellation refund as this is a free event. If you cannot attend and have registered, please let us know by sending an email to nsw.training@ranzcp.org as soon as possible as seats are limited.


Cancellation - Medical
The health and safety of attendees is our highest priority. RANZCP requests that any attendee who is feeling unwell or has cold flu like symptoms, not to attend the event. If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the event, please send your cancellation to nsw.training@ranzcp.org as soon as possible as seats are limited.


Event cancellation
RANZCP is monitoring the latest health advice from both the Department of Health (Australia) and the New South Wales Government, and we ask that all attendees do the same. If we are required to make any changes or cancellations to our event due to government restrictions, attendees will be notified by email.
